Sheffield Wednesday, Derby County, Portsmouth all make bids as Bolton Wanderers hover

The former Celtic star was a shining light for the Tangerines in the third tier last season

Sheffield Wednesday, Derby County and Portsmouth are all said to have made offers for Brest winger Karamoko Dembele this summer, while Bolton Wanderers also have an interest.

That’s according to journalist Darren Witcoop, who has claimed that the Football League quartet are all in the hunt for the young star, who impressed while on loan with Blackpool in League One last season.

The 21-year-old featured in 39 games for the Tangerines during the 23/24 campaign, and contributed towards 21 goals for Neil Critchley’s side in that time.

The former Celtic man reportedly still has two years left on his deal with the French outfit, after joining the club from the Glasgow side in the summer of 2022.
