Sheffield United are pressing ahead with a move to sign Manchester United castaway Jesse Lingard.
The English attacking midfielder is out of favour at United, and has barely featured in any competition this season.

Despite the near certainty of relegation from the Premier League, the Blades believe they have a good chance of signing Lingard this month.
The Sheffield Star claims a loan move could happen, as it would allow Lingard the game time he desires to resurrect his career.
Blades boss Chris Wilder has made no secret of his desire to sign players this month to bolster their slim chances of avoiding relegation.
His squad has been beseeched by injury problems all seasons.
