Sevilla & Real Betis among 10 clubs eyeing summer move for Real Madrid star | OneFootball

The race for the signature of an out-of-favour member of the midfield setup at La Liga giants Real Madrid is beginning to heat up ahead of the summer.

That’s according to Diario AS, who have revealed that a whole raft of clubs from across the continent have set their sights on Real starlet Arda Güler.

Midfielder Güler has of course endured a difficult debut campaign to date in Spain’s capital, on his way to just a solitary start across all competitions.

In turn, it has been suggested that the Turk could be farmed out on loan for the 2024/25 campaign, to secure for himself more regular first-team football.

And, safe to say, in the case of the Real Madrid brass green-lighting as much, Güler will not be at all short on suitors…

As per the aforementioned AS, ‘there are more than 10 teams that have asked about Güler’ ahead of the summer window swinging open.

Among these clubs are two from La Liga, in the form of Sevilla, and Real Betis.

Both, however, are likely to find it difficult to convince their counterparts at the Santiago Bernabéu of the merits of a deal.

This comes with Los Blancos understood to have made clear that, if Güler is to depart for next season, he will only do so to link up with a club plying their trade in the Champions League.
