An insight into the latest transfer developments behind the scenes at La Liga outfit Sevilla has been provided late this evening.
The info comes courtesy of Estadio Deportivo, who point towards a potentially hectic close to the January window being in store at The Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán Stadium.
First on the agenda will be the departure of Ivan Rakitić, all set to take his talents to Saudi Arabia, with Al-Shabab.
The Croatian, however, may not be the only member of Quique Sánchez Flores’ squad primed for a move to the Middle East.
This comes with Al-Shabab, according to ED, readying a fresh offer for Suso, too.
The Riyadh-based club have already seen one bid for wide-man Suso turned down this month, deemed insufficient by the Sevilla brass.
A 2nd, more lucrative proposal, to club and player alike, though, is now in the offing.
And though the Nervionenses would be hesitant to lose such a key performer mid-season, it is thought that the incoming offer may prove too good to turn down.
Should Suso, in turn, follow Rakitić to Al-Shabab, the transfer team at Sevilla would then be expected to make use of the funds secured to bring in an immediate replacement.
And the front-runner to fill this role, as things stand, comes in the form of Borussia Dortmund starlet Giovanni Reyna.
