Serie A Tips: Back Udinese to score relegation fight KO at 3/1

Lecce v Atalanta (Saturday, 17:00)

Atalanta need to bounce back from disappointment when they face Lecce, in order to book their place in next season's Champions League.

Gian Piero Gasperini's side lost 1-0 in the Coppa Italia final against Juventus on Wednesday. It was the first of two cup finals that Atalanta have reached, with the climax of the Europa League against Bayer Leverkusento come next week. For now, they must concentrate on Serie A, where a win against Lecce could secure their Champions League qualification, if Roma fail to beat Genoa.

Lecce are safe in mid-table and lost 2-0 at home to Udinese last weekend. They do tend to keep things pretty tight and with Atalanta fighting the fatigue of their fixture list, back the away win and under 3.5 goals at 7/52.40.

Sassuolo v Cagliari (Sunday, 11:30)

Sunday's Serie A action begins with this relegation dogfight between Sassuolo and Cagliari.

With two games of the season remaining, Sassuolo are 19th in the table and three points from safety. A 1-0 win against Inter at the start of May brought hope, but a 2-1 defeat at Genoa last weekend leaves Sassuolo needing to pull off a great escape.

Cagliari have a four point advantage over Sassuolo, yet they are only one point ahead of Empoli in 18th place. With two out of form sides being desperate for points, it's anyone's guess as to where the points will go, but it should be entertaining. Combine both teams to score with over 2.5 goals at 10/111.91.

Udinese v Empoli (Sunday, 14:00)

Udinese climbed out of the relegation zone last weekend, which saw Empoli drop into the bottom three.

New manager Fabio Cannavaro enjoyed his first win since taking over at the struggling club, with that 2-0 victory at Lecce last weekend. The win saw Cannavaro's side rise to 15th, but they are only a point ahead of Empoli and are still very much in need of points over their next two games.

Empoli lost 2-0 at Lazio in their last outing and given their lack of scoring prowess they look to be doomed, having drawn blanks in eight of their last ten games. Take a chance on a Udinese win and under 2.5 goals at 3/14.00, which is a bet that has landed in seven of Empoli's last ten fixtures.

Bologna v Juventus (Monday, 19:45)

The timing of Bologna's Monday night fixture against Juventus could scarcely be more dramatic.

Reports claim that Thiago Motta has an agreement in place to leave Bologna at the end of the season to replace Max Allegri as the Juventus manager. That's despite Allegri having lifted silverware this week, as Juve won the Coppa Italia. Motta has surprised everyone by guiding his unfancied Bologna side into next season's Champions League, having moved up to third place in Serie A, ahead of Juventus.

The Old Lady have drawn their last five league games and can't be discounted, even if Bologna are the rightful favourites. Back Bologna double chance and under 2.5 goals at 10/111.91.
