The future of Marc-Andre ter Stegen continues to remain uncertain as Barcelona gear up for a crucial month ahead.
The German international has found himself surplus to the requirements following the arrival of Joan Garcia.
As such, Barcelona are keen on seeking his exit, with Inter Milan emerging as one of the potential suitors.
The UCL finalists have reportedly lodged an inquiry for the Barcelona captain, who has been linked with a move to Chelsea as well.
However, Fabrizio Romano has recently refuted claims of Inter Milan lodging an inquiry for Ter Stegen.
As per the Italian transfer expert, there has been no contact between Inter Milan and Barcelona surrounding a move for the goalkeeper.
Inter Milan, in fact, have yet to even contact Ter Stegen over a potential move to Milan this summer.
Inter’s reported interest in Ter Stegen came on the back of potential plans to replace Yann Sommer, whose contract expires at the end of next season.

Ter Stegen, however, is not going to leave Barcelona easily and has reportedly set forth a series of conditions for him to depart Camp Nou.
Not to mention, the German international has also rejected an offer from Chelsea and looks determined to make things difficult for Barcelona.
A move away from Camp Nou, however, would make a world of sense for the former Gladbach goalkeeper, who has finally become Germany’s number one choice in between the sticks.
But if Ter Stegen fails to play frequently, he will not remain Germany’s number one. The goalkeeper, therefore, must move to a club which can offer him regular game time, especially with the FIFA 2026 World Cup just around the corner.
The summer is still long and it will be interesting to see how things transpire, as far as Ter Stegen’s future is concerned.
