Barcelona looked void of options in going forward in the first half. João Félix smashed his effort off the crossbar after receiving a slick pass from João Cancelo, but the hosts failed to create much else.

It looked for all the world like Sevilla would escape Barcelona with a precious point, but luck was not on their side it appeared.

Defending deep in their own half, a dinked ball to the back post found the head of Lamine Yamal, whose nodded effort bounced into the back of the net by the onrushing Sergio Ramos.

The fluke own-goal was all Barcelona needed to scrape by and snatch the three points to reclaim top-spot in LaLiga.
