FC Dallas have completed the signing of United States international midfielder Sebastian Lletget from the New England Revolution in exchange for $600k General Allocation Money (GAM).

Lletget has signed a deal through the 2023 MLS season, leaving the Revs after just seven months, during which he managed 22 appearances, three goals, and four assists.

"I've worked with [Lletget] the last three years with the national team," FC Dallas head coach Nico Estévez said in a club press release. "He's a great guy for the locker room. He's humble, a hard worker. He gets along with any player of any age and he speaks two languages: Spanish and English. I think this will help him get close to the guys and get along with them."

Now 29, Lletget is in his eighth MLS season having previously represented the LA Galaxy for six years, while he's capped 33 times for the USMNT, scoring eight goals.

"We would like to thank Sebastian for his professionalism and dedication to the Revolution this season," New England sporting director and head coach Bruce Arena said. "This trade presented a great opportunity for the player and our club, and we wish Sebastian nothing but success in Dallas."

Lletget joins an FC Dallas side sitting fourth in the Western Conference table, though only three points keep them above the MLS Cup Playoffs line.
