Club América attacking midfielder Sebastian Córdova shone in his Mexico debut against Trinidad and Tobago, which caused a lot of clubs in Europe to take notice.

According to various reports, Manchester United, Benfica, Real Betis, and Sevilla are all interested in the 22-year-old after his stellar 74-minute performance on the international stage, where he provided an assist in El Tri’s 2-0 victory.

It should be noted that the four clubs that are reportedly interested in his services have all signed Mexican players in the past.

Former United star Javier ‘Chicharito’ Hernández is currently at Chivas, while Raúl Jiménez plyed his trade at Benfica from 2015 to 2018.

Diego Lainez moved to Real Betis from América in January and, along with Mexico captain Andrés Guardado, could play a big role on getting Córdova to join.
