The Toffees recorded their first win of the season against Crystal Palace, and are looking to continue their form against Eddie Howe's side, but have a host of injury concerns.

Speaking to the media, Dyche revealed that he was "hopeful about James Tarkowski and Dominic Calvert-Lewin", both of whom played at the weekend but have since suffered knocks and illness respectively.

Meanwhile, James Patterson and Jarrad Branthwaite are hoping to be involved with the U21 side this weekend as they step up their recovery from injury.

In midfield, James Garner remains out through illness, while Idrissa Gueye has suffered a family bereavement so will be unavailable.

And Seamus Coleman's injury will see him out for "longer than we'd hoped", with Dyche admitting that it's "not going to be a quick situation" for the veteran.

Another absentee is Youssef Chermiti, who is making "good progress" but is nowhere near a return, while the same is true for summer addition Armando Broja.

Finally, Michael Keane is undergoing a precautionary scan, with no update on his availability for the trip to St James' Park provided.
