Saudi Arabian clubs readying offers for Galatasaray’s Nicolo Zaniolo | OneFootball

Saudi Arabian clubs are said to be initiating contact with Turkish Super Lig side Galatasaray over a move for their Italian star Nicolo Zaniolo.

In Sky Italia’s daily transfer updates, it was revealed this afternoon that unnamed clubs in the Saudi top flight were set to move towards making formal offers for Zaniolo, a player who only joined Gala this past January.

Since his move from Roma, the 24 year old has appeared just 12 times for Galatasaray but has added a rather respectable five goals, which has seen him generate alleged interest from clubs back home in Italy and even the Premier League too.

The money that is currently being thrown around the Saudi Professional League may be of temptation to a player who has lost large chunks of his recent playing career to various knee injuries, which have seen him fall away from favour with the national side and lose his moniker of Italy’s next top star.

Zaniolo has spoken of his gratitude for fans of his current club and his keen interest in making sure he is playing Champions League football which is something he would have to give up should he leave Gala for Saudi Arabia.
