São Paulo received a boost at the start of the week as both Lucas Moura and Ferreirinha resumed full training with the squad at Barra Funda, according to Arquibancada Tricolor. The attacking duo, previously sidelined by injury, took part in all activities and have reached the latter stages of their respective recoveries.

After weeks apart from group sessions, their return is seen internally as a crucial reinforcement for São Paulo’s busy stretch ahead. The coaching and medical staff will continue monitoring their progress throughout the week, aiming to get them fully match fit and available for selection as soon as possible.

With the Brasileirão set to resume on Saturday, São Paulo could have significant offensive options returning to the fold for the upcoming fixture at Maracanã. The club’s technical team views Lucas and Ferreirinha’s availability as particularly timely, given the demanding schedule on the horizon.

The expectation is for both players to gradually increase their training volume under supervision by the medical and fitness departments. If all goes as planned, they may soon be included in the matchday squad, giving Hernán Crespo and his staff more flexibility in shaping the attack.

For São Paulo, the return of two experienced attackers offers not only depth but also renewed optimism as the team prepares to navigate a pivotal portion of the season.
