SANTI'S MEXICO ARE IN THE SEMI-FINALS

It was a positive evening for Santiago Gimenez in the quarter-finals of the CONCACAF Gold Cup. He came on in the 60th minute of the match that Mexico won 2-0 over Saudi Arabia. In fact, the Rossoneri forward had a key role in the second goal: he was the player that attacked Chavez's cross in the six-yard box and forced defender Abdullah Madu into an own goal. In the end, he just missed out on some joy of his own, as the Saudi Arabian keeper denied him. It was another convincing and solid performance from the bench for Santi whose nation will face Honduras in the semi-finals on Thursday 3 July at 4:00 CEST.
