Germany’s friendly with Austria on Tuesday was anything but cordial after Leroy Sané was sent off for lashing out.
The Bayern Munich winger was penalised for a foul on Philipp Mwene which sparked the two players to come to blows.

But red mist descended as Sané shoved his opposite number to the ground to earn an early second-half dismissal.
Tensions continued to boil over from the 27-year-old as Die Mannschaft staff attempted to usher him off the pitch.
It marked a less than ideal evening for Julian Nagelsmann’s side, who were condemned to a 2-0 defeat by their hosts in Vienna.
