Juventus are pressing ahead in talks to sign Jadon Sancho from Manchester United, with the player's agent now in Turin to advance negotiations, according to multiple reports from Sky Sport, Tutto Juve, and Bianconera News.
Discussions between Juventus and Manchester United have been described as productive in recent days. The presence of Sancho’s representative in Turin is seen as a key signal of progress. According to Gianni Balzarini on Bianconera News, the agent's visit has a dual purpose: to iron out final details around the club’s latest offer—reported as €17.5 million plus €5.5 million in add-ons for Sancho, with further negotiations centered on the player's salary and performance-related bonuses—and to give Sancho reassurance that Juventus remain committed to closing the deal. With interest reportedly coming from English clubs, including Chelsea, Juventus want to provide the player with guarantees and clarity regarding their intentions and the timeline for the transfer.
This pursuit is linked closely to Juventus’ plans for their wide positions. Sky Sport’s Luca Marchetti notes a broader "domino effect" in the market for wingers, with Juventus’ interest in Sancho potentially unlocked by an exit for Nico Gonzalez. The Argentine is the subject of a €30 million approach from Al Ahli, and sources suggest both the player and Juventus are open to a sale. Such a move would clear a squad space and help fund the arrival of Sancho, whose profile the club views as a suitable fit for new manager Igor Tudor's tactical plans.
The situation, however, remains fluid, with Inter Milan also monitoring options for new wide players and Manchester United weighing up their own plans for Sancho's future.
While concrete terms have yet to be finalized, the feeling at Continassa is that Juventus want to move decisively—especially with pre-season preparations underway and Tudor keen to integrate new arrivals quickly. Juventus’ board see Sancho’s availability as an opportunity to add pace and creativity to their attack after a testing season.
For now, negotiations are expected to intensify through the coming week, with Sancho’s agent continuing talks in Turin and Manchester United waiting for a proposal that meets their valuation. The next few days could be decisive as Juventus look to reshape their squad and Sancho faces a possible Serie A chapter.
