Samir Nasri's days at Arsenal were truly dreamy.

The diminutive French trickster set the Premier League alight at the Emirates Stadium, playing his part in some of the club's most iconic goals of recent times.

In 126 appearances for the north Londoners, Nasri netted 27 goals while racking up 16 assists as well.

There were times that Arsenal would flow through opposition defences like a hot knife through butter with Nasri at the heart of some of that scintillating play.

In fact, there were a number of occasions that Nasri was the central spoke in some of Arsenal's finest team play but it was his individual goals that the streets will never forget.

Nasri had an uncanny ability to jig and jag his was through defences, making it look as though the ball was glued to his feet, before finishing each and every one off with aplomb.

His performance against Fulham, in which he scored two world class individual goals, perhaps best highlights his ability with the ball at his feet.

However, his strike against Porto in the Champions League might just eclipse both of those.

Receiving the ball out wide and with several defenders blocking his path to goal, Nasri embarked on quite the adventure as he started to slalom his way to goal.

With the help of a few step overs, a rapid turn and some very quick feet, Nasri lead the defence on a merry dance before slamming home from a tight angle to send the Emirates into raptures.

It really was a once-in-a-lifetime strike.

Sadly, Nasri's career at Arsenal would end on a bit of a sour note, as he swapped London for the riches of Manchester City.

That decision didn't go down well with the fans and, while he did enjoy some success at City, Nasri was never quite able to replicate the electricity of his time at The Gunners.

He certainly seems to be enjoying retirement as well as he began to trend online for his change in physique since his playing days.

Thankfully, there is enough brilliant content from his Arsenal days to keep us down the rabbit hole for  plenty of time.
