Aleksandar Pavlovic is FC Bayern’s high-flyer par excellence this season. After making his debut for the German record champions last October, the youngster is now a permanent member of their squad. The defensive midfielder is now set to sign a new deal with the Munich club.

As reported by Sport BILD, those responsible at Bayern want to tie Pavlovic down until further notice. They appear to want to extend the contract of the midfield gem, which is currently dated until 2027, at an early stage. The Bayern bosses are therefore delighted with Pavlovic’s performances and want to reward him with a new deal. The new contract is expected to offer the 19-year-old significantly improved financial terms.

Even though the German heir has had to contend with illness-related absences in recent weeks, Bayern coach Thomas Tuchel is counting on the youngster. Pavlovic was only allowed to start again last weekend in the 5:1 win over Union Berlin and put in a good performance alongside Leon Goretzka.

Pavlovic on his promotion: „It’s hard to realise“

Pavlovic himself recently spoke about his meteoric rise at the German record champions. „Sometimes it’s really hard for me to realise. A year ago, I played my first game for the men at the Grünwalder Stadion and now I’ve already played 16 games for the first team. But I just think from game to game and don’t look back too much on the past,“ explained the 19-year-old.

After the youngster made his debut for Bayern last October, he continued to play his way into the spotlight at the German record champions. The 19-year-old has now made 15 Bundesliga appearances and has two goals and two assists to his name. He has been a regular under his sponsor Tuchel for months now. The midfield star previously passed through FC Bayern’s youth departments. He signed his first professional contract in Munich last November.
