Liverpool racked up an emphatic four-goal rout against Championship side Leicester City in Singapore.

Scorers: Núñez 30′, Clark 36′, Jota 39′, Doak 64′

Jürgen Klopp’s side took the lead when Darwin Núñez prodded home at the far post after Mads Hermansen spilled Diogo Jota’s initial effort.

A second followed for the Reds just five minutes later courtesy of Bobby Clark’s sweeping finish from Mohamed Salah’s tee-up inside the area.

Salah provided a second assist towards the end of the first half as his floated delivery was met with a downward header by Jota to beat Hermansen.

Liverpool continued to ramp up the pressure after the interval when Ben Doak glanced home after Dominik Szoboszlai’s corner was flicked on to him.

The Anfield club will return to Singapore’s National Stadium on Wednesday to take on Bayern Munich in their penultimate pre-season outing.
