Daniele Rugani alleviated the crisis around Juventus as he scored a 95th minute winner to defeat Frosinone and end their four-game winless run with a 3-2 victory in the Sunday sunshine in Turin.

It took under-fire Juve just three minutes to issue a response to the heavy criticism they received over the past week when Dušan Vlahović put them in front by sweeping home from a Weston McKennie pass.

But within 10 minutes, the visitors hit back with a surprise equaliser through Walid Cheddira, who steered a header beyond Wojciech Szczęsny for parity.

As if that wasn't enough to have the critics feeling vindicated, Frosinone then hit the front through Marco Brescianini as he walked through the middle of a hesitant Juventus defence and finished high into the net.

To add insult to injury with the goal, Juventus lost Adrien Rabiot to injury again in the build-up, with Massimiliano Allegri left furious by his side failing to put the ball out of play to allow him to exit - and were ruthlessly punished for it.

However, his mood was brightened somewhat through Vlahović, who curled into the corner when he appeared to have no space to pick out the angle from inside the area and offer a quick leveller.

It appeared that would be all for the hosts who looked set to make it five-in-a-row without victory, only for Rugani to save the day deep into stoppage time by pouncing at the far post to steer in a loose ball and close the gap at the top to six points, although Inter have two games in hand.
