Right, so goalkeepers and defenders have been sorted, and now your 2025-26 Roshn Saudi League Fantasy team needs the midfielders who are going to guarantee points, points, points.

Look at those who not only create, but have an eye for goal, as well. So, here’s the penultimate entry in our 2025-26 series to help guide you through RSL Fantasy – and hopefully to gaining bragging rights over family and friends, and maybe even prizes.

Check out our five midfielders who require serious consideration.

--------

Salem Al Dawsari – Al Hilal (13 million)

The Al Hilal captain is one of the most important players in the RSL and, even though it seems barely possible given his sustained output through the years, his performances have been steadily increasing across the past two seasons.

Last term, Al Dawsari registered the most goal contributions, with 34. His 2024-25 RSL Fantasy-leading 19 assists contributed to the reigning RSL Saudi Player of the Season being one of the few players to break the 200-point barrier.

--------

Joao Felix – Al Nassr (7.5m)

A strong option to RSL Fantasy has been added this season with the arrival of Felix to Al Nassr.

The Portugal international, a marquee recruit to the Saudi top flight, has shone during pre-season to provide a pretty clear example of why he could prove invaluable on debut.

Felix possesses the ability to both create and score goals, in addition to his excellent ball control and dribbling skills. His tactical flexibility also enables him to perform a variety of offensive roles, which should only enhance his points tally.

--------

Moussa Diaby – Al Ittihad (9m)

If you are leaning towards French superstar Karim Benzema in your forward line-up, then you'd be wise to opt for his Al Ittihad colleague, and fellow countryman, Diaby.

The former Aston Villa winger excelled on debut last season, chipping in with five goals but, more tellingly, a whopping 16 assists.

Diaby's most notable attribute is the abundance of opportunities he creates for the RSL champions, with eight different players scoring goals direct from his creative genius.

--------

Mourad Batna – Al-Fateh (7.5m)

If you need proof of why the mighty Moroccan could offer considerable value this season, then it’s no coincidence Al Fateh recently renewed Batna’s contract after his best season with the club.

The experienced winger, in his sixth campaign at the Al Ahsa side, netted 13 times last term, a fine output in a team that spent the majority of the campaign fighting relegation.

What’s also important is that Batna was the league's top penalty-area dribbler, completing 20 successful attempts through 2024-25. Put that all together and it’s clear: he offers individual solutions with an ability to score seemingly out of nowhere.

--------

Daniel Podence – Al Shabab (6.5m)

The Portuguese attacking midfielder has been selected with a 6.8 percent ownership rate so far, but don’t let that fool you.

Podence is one of the most attractive options since he mixes real return on a low price with his obvious capabilities: he boasts both the ability to score and create opportunities.

And that’s not to mention his excellent vision on the pitch to arrow accurate passes to teammates, which this season helps owners gain points under the new RSL Fantasy rules.
