According L’Équipe Amiens are set to sign Cameroonian defensive midfielder Frank Boya (27) from Royal Antwerp for a fee of €3m including bonuses.
Boya spent last season on loan at Sint-Truiden, where he made 31 appearances last season, scoring one goal and providing two assists in the Belgian Jupiler Pro League.
The 27-year-old is currently under contract with Antwerp until 2024, entering into his final year. The Cameroon international has a wealth of experience in Belgium with 113 top flight appearances, featuring in the Europa League five times.
Amiens have been active in the latter stages of the summer transfer window, and a reportedly on the verge of signing former Liverpool, Newcastle, and West Ham striker Andy Carroll – who leaves English League One side Reading.
