Romelu Lukaku has given up two days off this week to work on his fitness at Appiano Gentile, according to Corriere dello Sport.
Antonio Conte will resume preseason training tomorrow ahead of Inter’s first Serie A match at home to Lecce on 26 August.
However, Lukaku came in yesterday and again this morning to improve his physical condition after arriving from Manchester United.
Diego Godin was also expected at Appiano today as the defender continues his recovery from a thigh injury.
Lukaku scored four goals in his first unofficial appearance for Inter on Sunday as Conte’s side beat Virtus Bergamo 8-0.
The Nerazzurri are considering arranging another match at Appiano at some point during the next fortnight, in order to give their €75 million man a second run-out.
Lukaku is searching for a house in Milan and is expected to settle on something in the City Life zone.
The Belgian international was officially unveiled as Inter’s fifth summer signing last week, following a series of fraught negotiations between Inter and United.
