Inter Milan will not re-purchase Giovanni Fabbian from Bologna despite the rumors linking the Italian with a return to the San Siro.
Per Sport Mediaset via FCInter1908, the Nerazzurri will pass on the buyback clause and focus on other priorities.
Inter retained the option to re-sign Fabbian after his 2023 move to Bologna. Yet, they will let the 22-year-old stay at Renato Dall’Ara.
Indeed, the Nerazzurri could’ve brought Fabbian back for only €12 million this summer.
However, they’ve chosen not to give him another chance.

Inter’s decision could facilitate Fabbian’s transfer elsewhere.
Despite missing an opportunity for a fresh start at the San Siro, the midfielder could still secure a big move this summer.
According to the same report, Lazio have set their sights on the Padova youth academy graduate.
Lazio’s interest could mean they’re preparing for life after Nicolo Rovella.
Meanwhile, Rovella has emerged as a genuine target for Inter amid talks Hakan Calhnaoglu could leave the club.
