Roma are planning to let go of Leandro Paredes in January which could further fuel the club’s own transfer plans for the winter market.

As reported by ESPN Argentina, Paredes is pondering an anticipated exit from the Italian capital.

Due to his limited playing time under coach Ivan Juric, Paredes is eager to make his return to Boca Juniors who have already expressed interest in signing him in 2025.

Now, the broadcaster adds that Paredes’ departure could help Roma alleviate the wage bill.

Additionally, the Giallorossi will plan to use the funds from the Argentine’s move to secure a new right-back signing.

In recent days, Celta Vigo’s Oscar Mingueza was named as the top priority name for Roma sporting director Florent Ghisolfi.
