Roma is intensifying its contacts for Julio Enciso, the Paraguayan striker currently owned by Brighton.
A meeting between the Giallorossi management and the player’s entourage is scheduled for this weekend, with the aim of reaching an agreement on the transfer terms.
As Orazio Accomando of DAZN reports, the Roman club is pushing for a loan with an option to buy.
Brighton, on the other hand, prefers to include an obligation to buy at the end of the loan, aiming to cash in on the deal immediately.
A concrete offer from Palmeiras is already on the table: €10 million plus a 40% interest on the player’s future sale.
Despite this, Enciso has reportedly expressed his desire to remain in Europe, a factor that could benefit Roma in the negotiations.
The striker’s contract expires in 2026, with an option to extend until 2027.
