Roma tie up loan signing of RB Leipzig's Angeliño

Roma have confirmed the loan signing of RB Leipzig left-back Angeliño.

The Spanish native was recalled from a season-long stay at Galatasaray, where he made 18 appearances, to join the Serie A outfit.

Angeliño will wear the No.69 shirt at the Stadio Olympico and spent the previous campaign on loan at Hoffenheim after falling out of favour with the Red Bulls.

“With Angelino we welcome a player at the height of his footballing maturity,” said Roma’s sporting director Tiago Pinto.

“We believe that his technical characteristics, combined with the wealth of experience he has accumulated in the most competitive European leagues, can marry with our squad and increase its potential.”

The Giallorossi have put together back-to-back wins since the caretaker appointment of Daniele De Rossi.
