Roma continue their positive streak with Daniele De Rossi in charge.
Last night’s impressive display at San Siro – where the Giallorossi won 0-1 and kept the fourth consecutive clean sheet since 2017 – once again showed how crucial Mile Svilar’s become since his inclusion into the starting line-up in February.
The Serbian shot-stopper gave Roma the confidence to face Milan on equal terms and focus on containing the Rossoneri’s attacking maneuver.
As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, with Svilar in goal, Roma have only suffered one defeat in 12 games (the 1-0 defeat at Brighton in the return leg of the Europa League Round of 16).
De Rossi’s decision to bench the veteran Rui Patricio is thus paying off.
