According to Foot Mercato’s information, AS Roma have not reached an agreement with Jérémie Boga (27) nor have they approached OGC Nice for the Ivorian international, despite what has been written in the Italian media. The French outlet instead explains that Roma are preparing an opening offer for Boga.
Boga only arrived in Nice last summer from Atalanta BC but swiftly became one of the key players for the club as they secured their post in the Europa League with a fifth place finish. The Marseille-born attacker scored and assisted six times during the club’s only season under manager Francesco Farioli.
Nice had hoped to rely on Boga from the start of the season after Terem Moffi (25) suffered a serious injury to his ACL which will likely keep him sidelined for the majority of the new campaign. However, Roma will hope to test that commitment, although Foot Mercato writes that Nice are expected not to be listening to any offer below €20 million.
