Roma have launched negotiations with Sevilla for defender Loïc Badé.
The Frenchman is currently rumored to be Roma’s first name to strengthen the defense ahead of the start of the season.
With the likes of Chris Smalling and Marash Kumbulla expected to leave the club, Roma want at least one more defender for Daniele De Rossi’s squad.
According to Spanish media Loïc Badé is Roma’s first choice.
Spanish journalist Máximo de la Cruz Ramírez Ramírez reports that Roma have officially contacted Sevilla after Daniele De Rossi indicated Badé as the perfect reinforcement for the Giallorossi squad.
Sevilla’s asking price for Badé is estimated at 20 million euros, but Roma hope to lower demands and complete the deal for a lower fee.
