Roma new sporting director Florent Ghisolfi targeting Norwich star Gabriel Sara | OneFootball

The imminent arrival of Florent Ghisolfi in the Italian capital will result in Roma rapidly identifying new transfer targets for the summer.

As reported by Leggo, the French executive, who is yet to be announced by Roma, has already spoken with Daniele De Rossi and is currently compiling a list of players compatible with the manager’s requirements and the club’s financial means.

The newspaper claims that, in addition to Nahitan Nandez from Cagliari who is expected to become Roma’s first signing of the summer, Ghisolfi is also targeting Gabriel Sara of Norwich City.

Sara plays as an attacking midfielder and is coming off a remarkable season in the English Championship with 13 goals and 12 assists to his name in 48 appearances.

His flexibility in the midfield has given him the edge in Roma’s evaluations and the Giallorossi could soon hold talks with his entourage.
