Roma’s attacking woes have been on full display early on in the season.
With the game against Monza set to go underway tomorrow evening, the Giallorossi will look to further improve their record.
As things stand, Roma have taken 102 shots in Serie A (more than anyone else) and hit the target only 30 times, writes Il Messaggero. Meanwhile, they’ve collected 40 shots off target while 32 were blocked.
Although they’ve racked up plenty of attempts, their finishing has been poor. The Giallorossi have hit the back of the net only 7 times—an average of 1.17 goals per game.
They are currently ranked among the lowest goals scored in the league; only Empoli, Cagliari, Genoa, Monza, Venezia and Lecce have done worse so far.
