Roma have taken in a popular vote among Serie A representatives in order to adjust the number of teams involved in Italy’s top flight.

During today’s meeting between club executives of Lega Serie A, a vote was taken with regards to the possibility of reducing the number of teams from 20 to 18.

Roma – along with Inter, Juventus and Milan – voted in favor of this decision, reports Italian journalist Filippo Biafora of Il Tempo.

However, the remaining 16 clubs voted against.
