Roma are reportedly seriously considering a move for out-of-favor Rennes right-back Lorenz Assignon.
The 24-year-old is currently the most probable name to land in the Italian capital as the main reinforcement on the right flank.

With Zeki Celik set to stay at Roma, the Giallorossi want another player who could also rotate with Buba Sangare – the club’s new signing will most likely start off in Roma’s Primavera before finding space in the first team.
As a result, Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport confirms that, indeed, Roma have shown interest in Assignon and have held talks with his entourage.
However, at the moment the capital club have not formulated an offer for the player.
Assignon recently concluded a loan spell at Burnley but would like to try his luck elsewhere with Serie A as his rumored priority.
