Claudio Ranieri’s Roma have made resilience their main weapon.

The latest comeback, against Athletic Bilbao in the Europa League (2-1), is the eighth comeback completed under the management of the Roman coach, the fourth in the last month and a half after Udinese, Porto and Como.

Added to these results are the draws snatched with Tottenham, Milan, Bologna and Napoli, which confirm that the team never gives up.

As recounted by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the numbers tell of a sensational change of pace: in 2025, Roma have collected 10 victories and, in the league, have collected 30 points in 15 games, a pace second only to that of Inter (33) and Napoli (31).

A total U-turn for a team that, in November, was just two points from the relegation zone.

Among the protagonists of this rebirth are Eldor Shomurodov, a rediscovered striker, and Tommaso Baldanzi, increasingly involved in the offensive game.

But also two wingers who are growing greatly: Angeliño, who is aiming for a personal record for goals this season, and Alexis Saelemaekers, author of six goals and five assists.

With this mentality and a Ranieri capable of making the most of the resources at his disposal, Roma can continue to dream.
