Roberto Firmino has become the Saudi Pro League’s latest big-name signing after leaving Liverpool.
The Brazil international bid a fond farewell to Jürgen Klopp’s side at the end of last season after seven years with the club.
Now a free agent, Firmino has opted to join Al Ahli as the newest high-profile addition to the country’s burgeoning top flight.
He joins former Chelsea goalkeeper Édouard Mendy in signing for the reigning Saudi champions this summer.
Firmino scored 111 goals in 362 outings at Anfield, winning virtually every available honour during that time.
