The 2024-25 Premier League continues with Gameweek 32 taking us a step closer to the end.
Liverpool remain 11 points clear at the top of the table and will be hoping victory over West Ham United on Sunday can edge them further towards the title. Arsenal host Brentford on Saturday looking to keep the pressure on their red rivals.
At the other end of the table, Ipswich Town travel to Chelsea looking to keep their safety hopes alive, while Leicester City face Brighton and Hove Albion hoping to do the same thing. The weekend kicks off with Manchester City hosting Crystal Palace on Saturday afternoon and once again finishes on a Monday, this time as Bournemouth face Fulham.
We’ve taken a look at all 10 matches from gameweek 32 and offered our predicted scores.
Man City will be looking to lay down the gauntlet for their top four rivals in the opening match of the weekend. But it won’t be easy. The Citizens face a Crystal Palace side that are unbeaten in their past 10 Premier League away games, winning six of those. Palace have also either failed to score or scored exactly twice in their last 11 Premier League games against Man City.
Leicester are fighting for their Premier League survival. But it looks like a return to the Championship is on the cards. The Foxes have now lost each of their past eight Premier League games without scoring a single goal. They’re also winless in their past five games against Brighton, losing their past two away matches in this fixture. But Brighton are in a bit of sticky form themselves, winless in three including two defeats.
Nottingham Forest will be looking to return to winning ways after defeat last weekend, as they try to secure a top-four finish. The Tricky Trees are unbeaten in their past nine home league games, winning seven alongside two draws. But Everton are unbeaten in their past four away league games against Forest, with three wins and a draw. The Toffees have also drawn 14 league games so far this season, including five of their last six.
Prediction: Nottingham Forest 1-1 Everton (5/1 with Lottoland)
Southampton have already been relegated. So now their sole goal is to avoid being the worst team in Premier League history — needing two points from their final seven games. Aston Villa will be looking to add to Southampton’s misery for their open European quest. The Villans have won their last four Premier League games against Southampton by an aggregate score of 7-0.
Prediction: Southampton 0-2 Aston Villa (7/1 with Lottoland)
Arsenal have been the kings of London derbies recently. The Gunners have won 12 of their past 15 Premier League derbies, drawing two and losing once. They’re also unbeaten in their past six games against Brentford specifically, winning five. Arsenal have been strong defensively to, conceding just 12 goals in their last 18 Premier League games, only conceding more than once in one of those matches.
Prediction: Arsenal 3-1 Brentford (11/1 with Lottoland)
Ipswich caused Chelsea problems when these sides bet at the end of 2024, but the Blues are a better team at home right now. The Blues are unbeaten in their past six home league games, winning five. They’ve also kept a clean sheet in each of their past four home games across all competitions, last conceding in a 2-1 win over West Ham. Two of those clean sheets have come against the teams currently joining Ipswich in the relegation zone.
Prediction: Chelsea 2-0 Ipswich (6/1 with Lottoland)
Liverpool lost in the league for just the second time this season last weekend, but they’ve got the perfect opponents to bounce back against. The Reds have scored five goals in three of their past four meetings with West Ham across all competitions. Arne Slot’s men have also won each of their past five Premier League games at Anfield, and 11 of their 13 since losing to Nottingham Forest in September.
Prediction: Liverpool 5-0 West Ham (13/2 with Lottoland)
Wolverhampton Wanderers are close to Premier League safety. Vitor Pereira’s men are now 12 points clear of the relegation zone with seven games left to play. They may even be eyeing up Tottenham Hotspur as a team to overtake, with just five points between the sides. Wolves have won their past three games and are unbeaten in four in the league. Tottenham, meanwhile, won last weekend to end a four-game winless streak including three defeats. But they’ll also have an eye on their Europa League quarter-final second leg on Thursday. Wolves have won three of their past four league games against Tottenham, including the past two at Molineux.
Prediction: Wolves 2-1 Tottenham (8/1 with Lottoland)
Newcastle United will be eyeing a place in the top four, and they can boost their hopes with a continuation of their good form. The Magpies have won four of their past five games to move up to fifth, level on points with fourth-placed Chelsea having played a game fewer. Manchester United will be fully focused on the Europa League, but will still want to climb as high as possible in the Premier League. They’ve lost their last two away league games against Newcastle, though, without scoring.
Bournemouth come into this game in rotten form, winless in their past six league games. The Cherries have also lost each of their last four home league games, their worst top-flight run. The Vitality Stadium hasn’t been a fun place for Bournemouth fans in general this season, with just 18 of their 50 league goals coming at home. Fulham, meanwhile, have won three of their past six including victory over Liverpool last time out. But they’ve kept just one clean sheet in their last 12 league games against Bournemouth.
