Manchester City have returned from their trip to Dortmund as winners of Group G after a sluggish 0-0 draw. Pep Guardiola’s side now turn their attention to the Premier League, with a match against Leicester City at the King Power Stadium quickly approaching. The Blues can go top of the league with a victory, as Arsenal do not play until Sunday. Robert Jones has been appointed as the man to take charge of Saturday’s fixture.

This will only be the third time that Jones has taken charge of a City game in his career, the first time this season. The most recent was when Jones officiated City’s 6-1 victory over Wycombe Wanderers in the third round of the Carabao Cup in September 2021. The Blues have won both matches in which Jones has been in charge.
