AC Milan have enquired about the situation of Yusuf Yazici, whose contract with Lille will expire in the summer. However, as a report claims, the Rossoneri are bound to face some competition for the player.
Yazici, who plays as an attacking midfielder, has scored ten goals in all competitions for Lille this season. Already more than he scored last season (6), when he was on loan at Trabzonspor, and he has thus attracted some interest.
According to RMC Sport, the 27-year-old is not expected to renew his contract with Lille and should leave for free in the summer. Milan, along with Napoli, have already enquired about the situation and it remains to be seen if they will make a concrete attempt.
Milan fans might be familiar with the player, seeing as he scored a hat-trick against the Rossoneri in the 2020-21 Europa League. It’s not the first time he has been linked with the club, in other words, and now might be the perfect opportunity to make it happen.
A lot will likely depend on the managerial situation and the formation that Milan will use next season. Questions that have no answers for the time being, making it tough for Geoffrey Moncada and Antonio D’Ottavio to move early.
