At 34 years of age, he arguably put in a man of the match performance against Bournemouth at Anfield yesterday.

Liverpool got back to winning ways by defeating Bournemouth 2-1 in the Premier League, however, it was far from a straightforward victory.

The Cherries took the lead through Callum Wilson early in the first-half. However, Klopp’s side responded shortly after, as Mohamed Salah scored his 20th goal for the club season.

Sadio Mane scored towards the end of the first-half, which proved to be the decisive moment in the match. But, it was Milner, who played at left-back in Andy Robertson’s absence, that stood out in the eyes of Ferdinand.
