Leyton Orient head coach Richie Wellens has committed his future to the club by signing a new three-year deal that will keep him in charge until the end of the 2027-28 season.
Last season, Wellens took Orient to the League One play-off final, where they narrowly lost 1-0 to Charlton Athletic, missing the chance to secure promotion to the Championship.
Orient secured a sixth-place finish in the 2024-25 campaign and advanced to Wembley after a dramatic play-off semi-final against Stockport County, winning on penalties after a 3-3 aggregate draw.
The 45-year-old has joined the O's in 2022 and previously guided the east London side to promotion from League Two in 2023.
Wellens has also enjoyed success elsewhere, winning the League Two title with Swindon Town in 2019 and lifting the EFL Trophy with Salford City in 2020.
