Sunderland have confirmed that head coach Regis Le Bris has signed a long-term contract extension, tying him to the club until the summer of 2028. It marks a significant statement of belief from both sides, with the Frenchman now firmly central to Wearside’s future plans.
Having impressed with his calm authority and progressive style, Le Bris spoke with evident pride: “The connection I have with the staff, players, and supporters has been natural, and we shared many great moments together.” His words reflect the bond forged since arriving in the North East, where ambition is quietly growing.
“The collective ambition is there to see and now, there is a desire to become stronger. I can feel the energy and intent to push forward, and we need that in the next challenges we will face,” Le Bris continued, underlining the shared drive for success.
“In every part of the organisation, everyone has their own part to play, and we are all aligned.” That sense of unity may yet prove decisive as Sunderland look to take the next step in their journey under Regis Le Bris.
