Everton clash with Crystal Palace at Goodison Park on Thursday night, in the hopes of clinching the three points in the home encounter.

The Toffees head into the match losing 3-2 against Brentford in their last Premier League fixture. They find themselves closer to the dreaded relegation zone right above Leeds United with two games remaining in the Premier League this season.

Team News

Ben Godfrey and Yerry Mina are not likely to feature in the clash against the Eagles. Salomon Rondon and Jarrad Branthwaite will be unavailable due to suspension, but Lampard is positive that Micheal Keane would return to the Starting XI.

Frank Lampard might opt for the 3-4-3 formation making necessary changes to the lineup.

Defence

Jordan Pickford is expected to start in goal for the Toffees in the upcoming encounter. The English shot-stopper would hope to put up a strong performance to stop Crystal Palace at their tracks.

Michael Keane has been a consistent performer for Everton in defence, he could feature at the heart of the Toffees’ backline along with Coleman and Holgate at the left and right centre back positions.

Midfield

Andre Gomes and Doucoure would be playing in the holding position over the central midfield, with the latter tasked with shielding the backline with a more defensive role.

Iwobi and Mykolenko might take up the wide positions, playing down the left and right-midfield, respectively. The duo would be determined to engineer some clear-cut goal-scoring chances for the front-men.

Attack

The Toffees’ attack should be spearheaded by Calvert-Lewin as he could fancy his chances of finding the back of the net and creating trouble for the Eagles’ backline.

Richarlison and Anthony Gordon would operate down the left and right-wing positions providing support to the forward.
