Borussia Dortmund midfielder Gio Reyna believes he’ll be back in action before the international break at the end of March.
The America International left the field in tears during Dortmund’s 6-0 win over Borussia Monchengladbach but it would seem the injury wasn’t as bad as first feared.
“”I’m doing well now, and then I hope I can be back within the next couple of games for Borussia Dortmund,” the 19-year-old ESPN.
“Playing is kind of the one time of the day where, whether it is practice or a game, where everything else kind of goes out the window and you just get to kind of relax and play.
“When something you love so much, it’s kind of just taken away from you for that long and you don’t really know how long you won’t be able to play, I guess it’s kind of frustrating.”
Reyna had already missed five months of the season after suffering a hamstring injury back in September.
