Luan Capanni, who joined AC Milan on a free transfer back in 2019, is expected to cut his loan spell in Serie C short to join another club. This has been reported by various outlets, with the striker looking to improve his situation.
As mentioned, the Rossoneri picked up the now 21-year-old back in 2019 as he left Lazio on a free transfer. Since then, the performances of Capanni have been up and down and there have been a few loan spells.
He left for the Spanish side Racing Santander, who play in the third tier, on loan in January of last year but he ended up back at Milan in the summer. He then packed his bags and joined Serie C side Vietrbese, but now that loan will be cut short.
This was reported by Nico Schira and TMW, stating that Capanni is about to sign for another Serie C side, namely Grosseto. It makes sense since the striker has scored just three goals despite 22 appearances this season.
The official announcement should arrive today/tomorrow (January 21s).
