Reports Man United preparing summer offer for Juventus defender

Premier League outfit Manchester United are plotting a bid to bring Juventus centre-back Gleison Bremer to Old Trafford during the summer transfer window according to Saturday’s back pages in Italy.

Corriere dello Sport claim that Bremer is United’s “No.1 target” for the summer window and that Juve will not be able to stop him from leaving if his release clause is met.

In fact, Saturday’s report suggests that the release clause in Bremer’s contract stands at just €50m.

New United investor Sir Jim Ratcliffe is reportedly keen on the idea of Bremer and is expected to spare no expense in building a new-look team ahead of the 2024-25 season.

Though Juventus would ideally like to keep hold of Bremer, who joined in a deal also reported to be worth €50m in 2022, the Bianconeri would likely receive a significant capital gain if United put forward a reasonable offer.
