Speaking to The Football Terrace, journalist Dean Jones has said that Jordan Henderson will not be leaving Liverpool this summer window, especially given the club has already seen Gini Wijnaldum move on from Merseyside.
Reports have emerged this week that the Reds and the skipper have not had the most productive start to talks over a contract extension and, naturally, the leap has been that we could see another Wijnaldum situation begin to play out.
It’s still early for that, though, and the club is not going to be losing the skipper this summer regardless, according to Dean Jones:

The skipper is a player of considerable standing in the Liverpool squad for obvious reasons and it would be a frankly baffling decision to let him go this summer.
There seems little chance of that in truth, anyway, so hopefully the contract situation can just play out quietly and be sorted soon.
