According to a report from journalist Venê Casagrande, Swiss Super League side, Lugano made a proposal to Flamengo over midfielder Hugo Moura.
Earlier in the week, Lugano showed interest in the 23-year-old and Flamengo showed positive interest, allowing the club to pursue the player further.
Lugano wish to bring the player in on a one-year loan without any financial compensation on their part but they would have an option to buy the player at the end of the season.
According to Casagrande, Flamengo should make a decision in the next few days.
It’s worth mentioning that Lugano are currently managed by former Flamengo manager Abel Braga, who promoted the player to the Flamengo first-team in 2019.
Moura has a contract at Flamengo until December 2023.
