According to a report from SPORT, Barcelona have shortlisted five players, namely, Marc-Andre ter Stegen, Pau Cubarsi, Pedri, Fermin Lopez and Lamine Yamal who are absolutely non-transferable this summer.

Apart from the five mentioned players, Gavi also happens to be on the same list but Xavi understands he cannot use the midfielder’s services at the beginning of the next season.

Relaying the information, journalist David Bernabeu did not count Gavi among these five non-transferables because we are talking about the players who are now active and are playing.

Meanwhile, Bernabeu also talked about Sergi Roberto, mentioning that he expects the veteran to continue for another season mostly because Barcelona do not expect to receive substantial offers for him.

“Ok, these are the five footballers for whom Barça will in no case list to offer – Ter Stegen, Cubarsi, Pedri, Fermin and Yamal,” said Bernabeu.

“These are the five footballers for whom Barcelona will, in no case, listen to offers,” he added.

Who can leave Barcelona then?

At present, Barcelona are working on several operations and difficult finances mean they could be forced to part ways with a few top players such as Ronald Araujo and Frenkie de Jong.

It is suggested that Barcelona could be aligned with the potential swap involving their Uruguayan defender and Bayern Munich’s Joshua Kimmich.

As far as De Jong is concerned, Barça are evaluating the squad’s status, and only a few players will be off-limits for transfer. Despite that, the Dutch player remains firm in his desire to stay.

His exceptional talent is unquestionable, but the club needs him to commit to a contract extension that hasn’t been finalized yet.

Similar to Araujo, the goal is to secure his future quickly, but if that does not happen, Barça may consider listening to substantial offers for him.
