The recent win over Daegu FC was a statement victory from FC Barcelona. Hansi Flick’s side manages to conclude their preseason tour with a perfect record, and that is great news for the club. However, not everything has been all sunshine and rainbows for Barcelona.
During the recent 5-0 victory over the South Korean side, La Blaugrana saw a key player go down and it seemed to have been a new injury case for the club to deal with. That player was Pau Cubarsi, and the young defender went down near the end of the game and had to be replaced.
Fortunately, recent reports have clarified that it was just a knock and nothing serious. However, it is still something that Barcelona will need to be careful about in order to make sure that the issue does not escalate or lead to a more serious injury.

Moreover, a recent update from Javi Miguel has provided some good news. While the player is now doubtful for the upcoming Joan Gamper Trophy game against Como, he should be back in time for the La Liga opener against RCD Mallorca.
This will be great news for Barcelona, as that game against Mallorca is their first official match of the season. While a good result in the Joan Gamper Trophy game is something that the club would like as well, the priority is to have Cubarsi available in time for the first game of the new La Liga season.
