The Kylian Mbappe departures rumors are just getting started. Real Madrid and Liverpool remain interested in signing current Paris Saint-Germain forward Mbappe in 2021, according to a report from L’Equipe.
The report alludes that contract extension talks between Mbappe and PSG as of late have not been rapidly progressing towards an agreement. The two sides remain far away on a deal, which likely concerns PSG as he is set to become a free agent in two years. Mbappe has not given PSG his full declaration that he aims to depart from the club, so PSG still remains hopeful of soon extending his current deal.
In the meantime, Real Madrid and Liverpool remain strongly interested in signing Mbappe. The two sides are set to be in fierce competition with each other for Mbappe’s signature next year. But if PSG is able to come to terms on a contract extension agreement with Mbappe before next year’s summer transfer window, it will likely end the interest from Real Madrid and Liverpool for the talent.
This should be the start of the endless amount of transfer reports that will come over the upcoming year linking Mbappe to other powerhouse clubs. As mentioned, PSG sure aims to end any speculation about Mbappe’s future with the club by extending his current deal.
